Makeup Review: Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer

I’m a busy working mom, that means that I prefer multi-tasking makeup that gets me through the day. Two of the most important products for me are foundation and concealer. Even if I don’t wear much other makeup, I like for my skin to look fresh and flawless, and that’s what foundation and concealer do for me. Well, Milani has made that much easier with Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer. I’m pretty much in love with this foundation and find myself going to it on on a daily basis.

AS FOUNDATION:
Apply a dime-sized amount of product with fingertips or a brush beginning at the center of the face, blending outward.

My results:

Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer lives up to its name is such a huge way. This foundation gives me complete coverage with just a little product. For under eye circles, I simply dab on a bit more foundation and it functions like concealer — virtually eliminating the need to dig into another pot of product. Genius!

I love that this foundation lasts for hours without fading. I put it on in the morning, go to work and come back home and my makeup is still intact. I look pretty much as fresh as I did when I first applied the foundation. That’s really saying something because my skin is oily, and typically my foundation will start sliding off unless I set if with lots of product — and I didn’t have to do that with this Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer. Additionally the color is on point (which is always difficult for deeper toned skin), and blends perfectly. There is no ashiness or too much red in the color I’m using — #05.

I think this is a fabulous foudation, and with a budget-friendly price that makes it easily affordable, I’d say it’s a must-have for anyone looking for a full-coverage foundation.

Bad Beauty Habits: Chelsea Will Stop Sleeping in Her Makeup

I need to stop sleeping with make up on now! (Editor's note–story was written before the first of the year) January 1, 2012 cannot wait. My plan to kick this awful habit is to make it easier to take my make up off at night. Lately, my typically clear skin has become unrecognizable. My low-maintenance facial routine couldn’t contend with my new facial issues: erupting pimples all over, stubborn dry patches on my cheeks, and oily areas on my forehead and nose. My face went completely haywire overnight it seemed, and the usual routine just wasn’t cutting it! Confession: I’ve been slacking on my sloughing-—big time. Little did I know, it would not only return my blemish-free visage, but give me a more even, smooth complexion over time!
