The first post for Blinging Beauty, this explains it all…

I was doing a wedding a couple months ago, and I put this amazing blush on one of the bridesmaids and it was like POW! It was instant radiance and glow.  Another bridesmaid in the party said, “Hey, I want some of that cheek bling!”  That cheek bling was none other that NARS Orgasm

nars-orgasm-blushblush, my blush of choice for all brides and anyone else who needs some bedazzle.    There it was, the name of my new blog—Blinging Beauty.

So what is blinging beauty? It’s beauty that shines.  It’s beauty that glows.  It’s not just external bling, it’s bling from within too.  It’s the beauty that we all have.  So look for our Blinging Babes category.

Women who have great inner beauty and strength.  And those women who are just drop dead gorgeous, the ones you want to knock your boyfriend in the head for his uncontrollable stare.  Yea, them.

But don’t get me wrong.  I’m quite shallow.  You heard of the fashion police?  Well I’m like the Beauty SWAT team.  We all need a little help.  Some of us more than others.  Check out out the DON’T DO THAT posts.  Yes, beauty done wrong.  You have seen it.  Too much eyeliner.  Not enough eyeliner.  Bad hair.  Bad makeup.  Bad Beauty.  The unbling.

With that being said, Blinging Beauty will be about trends and how to do them properly.  It will be about product reviews — Blings and Dings.  Is that latest dream cream all that it claims?  Should you wear that blue eyeshadow that was all the rage on the runways?  I will weigh in with my opinions and advice.

It will be celebrity dish.  And most of all, it will be about beauty goodies that all of us beauty junkies can’t live without.

Go get your bling on!  Translation — put on a little makeup honey.
