Makeup Review: Jolii Cosmetics 2.0 Lustre Lip in Alba & Terrana

I haven’t always been a lipgloss girl. Well, maybe. My first foray into makeup was super shiny, gooey, rollerball Bonnie Bell Lipgloss. I know I’m giving my age away now, but oh well. Anyway…

My next step was lipstick. And I fell in love with this Clinique pink lipstick and I wore it for years. Then Sade was my 80s beauty idol, so it was all about matte red lips. Enter M.A.C Russian Red. Nude lipgloss took over the 2000s and so I gave in to CHANEL Glossamers.

Now, I love it all, and I’m totally adaptable. I LOVE a great lipgloss, and I’ve found a new brand to brag about. I was gifted some gorgeous glosses from Jolii Cosmetics, and I’m in love.

My results:

Jolii Cosmetics 2.0 Lustre Lip lipgloss has amazing pigment even though it’s opalescent, and that’s very important to me. The color is long-wearing (for a gloss), so even when the glossy part is gone, you still have a hint of color remaining on your lips. Both the colors work so well with my skin tone, and I’m very pleased with how well they blend with any other color makeup I’m wearing.

I love that  Jolii Cosmetics 2.0 Lustre Lip lipgloss is moisturizing and at the same time not tacky. I’m sure that’s in part due to shea butter in the formula of gloss.
