Get the Look: Savage X Fenty Show Volume 2

For the dynamic and multi-look SAVAGE X FENTY SHOW VOLUME 2, the Fenty Beauty artistry team used all Fenty Beauty and Fenty Skin products to create 5 unique looks to tell the distinct stories of each “world” within the show. Within each dimension, the looks were then tailored to every model and their unique features and to reflect their personality.

The artists first prepped each model with the Fenty Skin Start’rs – Rihanna’s real-life skin care regimen for healthy, glowing skin in just three simple steps to cleanse, tone, brighten, hydrate, and protect. SCENE 1: GARDEN LOOK

“We were inspired by the ethereal nature of the set and wanted to interpret Rihanna’s vision of a garden through dramatic eyes. You’ll see magical hand-crafted flower petals for the top and bottom eyelashes and lots of blushed cheeks carried on to the nose for a dramatic flush. SCENE 3: BLACK WIDOW LOOK

“For the “Black Widow” scene, we used 1920’s imagery as inspiration for a dark beauty look. We blocked out brows and layered feathered lashes, blending mattes and shimmers to create dimension and depth with darkness. “For “Dear Diary,” we literally drew inspiration from Rihanna’s hand-drawn doodles and illustrations. SCENE 5: MIRROR LOOK

“For this scene it was all about reimaging self reflections in the mirror. We wanted it to be shimmering, dramatic and fierce, to show our inner strength that’s not always apparent in the mirror. We blocked out the brow, created an elongated cat eye, and used lifting tape create strong features, while also decorate the entire lid and taking it above the brow with shimmer for radiant reflection.” – Hector Espinal, Fenty Beauty Global Makeup Artist
