Budget Beauty Tuesday: Editor’s Pick—Ambi Even & Clear Makeup Removing Cleansing Cloths

I’m pretty much a sucker for any makeup removing cloth, and that’s because at the end of the day, the last thing I want to do is wash my face. However, not all makeup removing towelettes or cleansing cloths are created equal. Some have a great size, while others are wimpy and skimpy. Some are too thin. Others smell weird. And there are those that just don’t do the job.

There are however some that are simply great. Ambi, that age-old brand has come back with new and innovative products, one of which is Even & Clear Makeup Removing Cleansing Cloths. YAY! This lazy girl was very happy to receive these to review.

Here are the details about Ambi Even & Clear Makeup Removing Cleansing Cloths:

Budget Beauty Tuesday- Editor's Pick—Ambi Even & Clear Makeup Removing Cleansing ClothsUltra Soft Cloths

  • Dissolves all Traces of Makeup
  • Removes Waterproof Mascara

These soft, pre-moistened wipes thoroughly remove all traces of makeup while cleansing the skin of impurities.  Cloths clean leaving no sign of residue, so there’s no need to rinse.

AMBI® provides scientifically proven skincare products to help achieve beautiful, healthy-looking even toned skin.

Why we love them:

These makeup remover wipes, truly remove all traces of makeup. I have had some wipes that remove surface oil and makeup, but leave a film on the skin.  Not so with Ambi.  These wipes are sturdy and large enough to feel like a towelette–not skimpy.

My skin feels clean after cleansing with Ambi Even & Clear Makeup Removing Cleansing Cloths; there are cleansing cloths that leave you feeling like you need to do a final cleanse. I even used a second cloth the first time to insure that I had gotten all my makeup the first time, and it just wasn’t needed.

These clothes are perfectly fine to go across the eyes. As a matter of fact, they remove waterproof eye makeup. Big bonus points.  You can just lay the wipe on your eye and wait for it to dissolve the makeup, then wipe. Fabulous.

The price is right on target—$5.99 for 30 wipes. There are some cheaper and some more expensive, so I think that this is a competitive price.

Pro: Thoroughly removes makeup, even waterproof eye makeup,

Con: Contains mineral oil — some people may have a problem with that — I don’t
