Product Review—Makeup: Best Budget Eyeshadow Pencil—Milani Shadow Eyez #03 in Champagne Toast

Metallic eyeshadows were all the rage on the eyelids of models walking the runways for Fall Fashion Week 2012. At Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2012, Pat McGrath created soft gilded lids with gold shadows.

This fashion-friendly look is one that can be easily worn for a professional makeup look for day, or glammed up for night.

I was recently sent Milani Shadow Eyez #03-Champagne Toast for a product review, and found that I could easily replicate the gilded lid look of golden eyelids with this budget-friendly, user-friendly jumbo eyeshadow pencil.

Check out the details on this inexpensive eyeshadow pencil and read my review results below.

Here are the details about Milani Shadow Eyez #03 in Champagne Toast:

12 hr. wear. Highly pigmented formula. Metallic finish. Long-lasting. Water resistant. Water-resistant, crease-proof & long-lasting. Use as eyeliner or eyeshadow. Paraben free. Use sharpener to sharpen eyeshadow pencil. Remove with dual-phase eye makeup remover. Made in Germany.

Milani How To:

Apply the pencil directly to the eyelid, then blend it out with your finger or a brush. After use, always replae the cap so the tip does not dry out. Easily sharpens with Milani's Duo Sharpener.

 Tip:

To extend the wear, apply your foundation or pressed powder on entire eyelid before applying your eye shadow. This eliminates any oils your lids may have which can cause your eyeshadow to crease.

My Results:

I wore Milani Shadow Eyez in Champagne Toast in Florida heat and humidity and it stood fast to it's claim of lasting for hours  without creasing.  I even put Shadow Eyes to the test while working 12-hour days—I was exhausted, but my Milani Shadow Eyez eyeshadow was working overtime.

Application of Shadow Eyez is a cinch because of it's easy-to-use pencil shape.  It just  glides on your eyelids without any tugging on the skin.  I love the creamy texture, and the way it is easy to blend out.  You can make a bold statement with this pencil shadow, or you can keep it soft and pretty.  Milani Shadow Eyez #03 Champagne Toast will be added to my Princess Diva Makeup Bag.
