I am a naturalista when it comes to my hair.  I prefer to use products that work best with my texture and that utilize natural, organic ingredients.  So when I was given the opportunity to review SheaMoisture Organic Coconut and Hibiscus Curl & Shine Kit, I was pretty excited.  I was looking forward to the promise the Curl & Shine kit made  to detangle, define, hydrate and my enhance curls.

qiana hair for sheamoisture curl and shine kit reviewMy results:
Curl & Shine Shampoo: This shampoo has a very pleasant scent with light and silky texture. It lathered yet  did not leave my hair feeling stripped of its natural oil.

Curl & Style Milk: The texture of this product is loose and creamy. I applied this “leave-in conditioner” and realizde that it is much too light my hair texture 4a. I parted my hair into sections and my coils detangled with ease and I was able to style my hair with no problem.

Curl Enhancing Smoothie: The smoothie  was my absolute favorite as the is texture thicker than the Curl & Style Milk. The Curl Enhancing Smoothie moisturized my hair and left it feeling soft. I was really impressed with the way it defined my curls–it’s perfect for enhancing your curl pattern.

Hold & Shine Moisture Mist: This sweet smelling curl and shine mist is perfect for dry hair that needs added moisture. I love the size in the kit,  because you can just throw it in your purse. This sweet smelling spritzer spray is ideal to  rehydrate, fluff and go. I did not see a noticeable shine after using this product but it did hydrate my hair.

Bling Factor:
Pro: My hair was totally moisturized and strengthened. Sulfate and mineral oil free.
Con: Size of the bottles, insufficient directions
Price: $ 21.49
Buy Again: Yes, the kit was a great intro, so I would purchase full-size products
Packaging: 5 Blings The kit is in a cute peachy-pink and chocolate trimmed box that opens up like a book
Overall: 4 Blings
