How to: Create a Blue Smoky Eye with C’est Moi Makeup Crayon in Sapphire

I love a smoky eye, especially one with a jewel tone. I have hooded eyelids so I have to keep my “smoke” close to my lash line. At times I do a reverse smoky eye, where the smoke is under my lower lash line. I created that look recently with C’est Moi Visionary Makeup Crayon in Sapphire. This clean makeup and skin care line was made for tweens and teens, but this grandma loves it too!

How I created my blue smoky eye:

1.  Apply eyeshadow primer to entire lid and under lower lash line.

I used Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion – Anti-Aging $24

2. Apply a matte nude eyeshadow over entire lid.

I used the Too Faced Natural Lust Palette $59 for the entire look.

For the lid color I chose Silk Robe (matte nude)  from lash to brow bone.

Because I have a hooded lid, I applied a slightly darker matte nude from my crease to below my brow bone. I used Fall Hard and DM Me mixed together and blended all the way down.

Then I added a light highlight under my brow bone with Oops-a-Daisy.

3. For the smoky drama, I lined my upper and lower lids with C’est Moi Visionary Makeup Crayon in Sapphire. I smudged a little of Blindfolded (matte black) in my bottom lash line and smudged out all the blue pencil to create my smoky look.

4. Add false eyelashes!
