Hair Care Review: Lab to Beauty Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner
Like any other respectable person, I wash and condition my hair on a regular basis. My hair tends to be dry and frizzy without the use of daily grooming products, so typically I look for hair care products that address those issues. I was recently given the opportunity to try Lab to Beauty Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner which features CBD as an ingredient. Read on to see my results!

My results:
I have used Lab to Beauty shampoo and conditioner a few times now and I have upgraded my opinion from my first outing with the products.
Lab to Beauty The Nourishing Shampoo:
This shampoo is as a clarifying shampoo. I found that it did a great job of removing product build up and cleaning my scalp, but it left my hair a bit stripped and my hair just didn’t feel or look smooth. So that’s when I decided to do a pre-poo with the conditioner before using the shampoo. That’s when I had a more favorable result with the shampoo. The shampoo was still a little strong for my hair type, but I think it’s an effective shampoo overall. I would recommend it for oilier hair than mine however. Since I don’t believe this shampoo should be labeled as one for all hair types I can’t give it 5 blings, so I give it 4 Blings.
Lab to Beauty The Nourishing Conditioner
This conditioner is what I would categorize as a lightweight, slightly moisturizing conditioner. I do felt like it did a good job of detangling my hair the second time around (when I pre-pooed with it first). Detangling is a major concern for me since I have naturally textured hair. So, I loaded my hair up with the conditioner first time around and my hair felt clean and lightly conditioned after rinsing. I like that there is no residue with this conditioner, but I did feel the need to follow up with a leave-in conditioner.
For anyone who has textured hair as I do and they want to try these products, I would suggest doing a pre-poo with a hair mask first, then use the Nourishing Shampoo and conditioner for best results. When examining the ingredients I found that many of the extracts are great for the scalp, but not so much for drier hair types.
Bling Factor:
Pro: Cleanses well, great for scalp, shampoo clarifies, conditioner is lightweight, lovely rosemary mint scent
Con: Shampoo can too strong for dry hair, conditioner doesn’t detangle as promised
