“With this custom dress, we wanted to take old Hollywood glamour, but without conforming to the expected. Cynthia had one request: she wanted perfect, creamy, dewy ‘milk chocolate skin.’ I think we can say that we achieved that! The brick red of the lips were where we went modern – this color was perfect for her and allowed her to radiate and glow from within.” – Terrell Mullin

COMPLEXION:

Terrell started with ArmaniPrima Glow-On Moisturizing Cream working into the skin with his finger, then followed up with the Smart Moisture Serum to create a dewy canvas.

Next, Terrell used Luminous Silk Foundation in 11.5 and mixed it with a touch of the Fluid Sheer in 11, creating a gorgeous glow. For the cheeks, he applied Neo Nude A-Blush in 51 for the perfect flush. As a final touch, Terrell swiped over the blush with a touch of the Neo Nude Compact Powder Foundation in 14.

EYES:

Terrell focused on creating a dark smoky look using Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow in 10. To add some depth, he swiped Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow in 23 in her creases. Next, he lined her lids with Eyes to Kill Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil along the top and bottom lash line, blending and smudging for a classic effect. To finish, he layered Eyes to Kill Classic Mascara onto her top and bottom lashes to complete Cynthia’s stunning smoky eye.

LIPS:

He used the new Lip Maestro Liquid Lipstick in 415 from the Matte Nature collection. Terrell says, “This was the perfect brick red for Cynthia, and offered modernity to the old Hollywood glamour we were going for.”
