Budget Beauty Tuesday: Wet ‘n’ Wild Brow Kit vs Smashbox Brow Tech

I’m an eyebrow fanatic. You know the saying — every great masterpiece must have a beautiful frame.  Well, so it goes with your eyebrows.  Unless you have absolutely perfect eyebrows via genetic gifting, you can probably use a little brow assistance.

Trends come and go with brows — thick, thin — but you never go wrong with a perfectly sculpted and filled brow.  You need less makeup , your face is lifted and your eyes are made the focal point.  There are a gazillion choices in brow products — pencils, powders, waxes, mascaras, fibers… I love them all for one reason or another.

But since it’s my day to endorse a favorite product, I have to tell your about Wet ‘n’ Wild Brow Kit. I stumbled on this cute little kit when shopping for budget beauty smokey eye palettes.  It was $3.99.  What caught my eye is that is was seemingly comparable to Smashbox Brow Tech.

Why similar?  Well both have powder brow color and a wax to set the color with.  Additionally the Wet ‘n’ Wild Brow Kit has tweezers and a brow brush to apply the color with.  Now they are tiny, but they do get the job done.

Smashbox Brow Tech Trio is $24.  Wet ‘n’ Wild is $3.99. You do the math.  Both apply and wear equally as well.  Sooo, I say skimp on Brow Tech and go with the Brow Kit from Wet ‘n’ Wild.  Take that $20 and put it towards something important…

Like a new pair of shoes!
