Budget Beauty Tuesday: Rimmel London Makeup Tutorial-Rita Ora at the 2015 Oscars
We already brought you the break down on singer Rita Ora’s stunningly simple makeup look for the 2015 Oscars. Check out that post here! Since then, I was fortunate enough to receive those exact products from Rimmel London, so of course I had to make a Blinging Beauty tutorial for you guys!
Here was my take on Rita Ora’s makeup at the 2015 Oscars:
Achieve this glam look by following these simple steps:
1. Beautiful Base
I was sent Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hr Foundation in the shade 101 Classic Ivory. While it was way too light for my skin tone, I was able to use it under the eyes and on the tip of my chin for a highlighted effect!
Try: Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 Hr Foundation $6.99
2. Rosy Pink Cheeks
To achieve Rita’s rosy pink cheeks, I used Rimmel London Lasting Finish Blendable Powder Blush in the shade 004 Tickle Me Pink. The subtle shimmers in the blush give a luminous glow to the face!

3. Navy Blue Eyeliner
Rita’s makeup artist added some flare to the typical winged eye liner by making it navy blue! To recreate the eyes, I created a curved wing using Rimmel London ScandalEyes Thick and Thin Liquid Pen Eyeliner. Then, I traced over the black with Rimmel London ScandalEyes Shadow Stick in Naughty Navy and an angled brush.

4. Lovely Lashes
By far my favorite new product from Rimmel London is the Rimmel London Wonder’Lash Mascara with Argan Oil. I topped off this winged eyeliner look with about 2 coats of mascara.
Try: Rimmel London Wonder’Lash Mascara with Argan Oil $7.99
5. Nudey Pink Pout
Rita Ora finished her Oscars look with a beautiful nude/pink pout using Rimmel London Provocalips 16 Hr Kiss Proof Lip Colour. This color came off much pinker on my lips than it did on Rita’s, but it was still a nice, girlish compliment to the navy eyes.
Try: Rimmel London Provocalips 16 Hr Kiss Proof Lip Colour in 110 Dare to Pink $5.69
What I love about Rita’s Oscars makeup is that it was so simplistic, yet elegant. Red carpet doesn’t always mean heavy eyeshadow. Rita’s look proved that you can create a red-carpet-ready face right at home!

I really Love Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipsticks, Scandal Eyes Liners & Shadow Sticks/Paints, but I’ve never found any of their blushes at any drugstore I’ve been to. They look very pretty and are talked about very highly, but haven’t ever seen one as of yet!
