Spa(ahhh) Day Sunday: Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask

Another Sunday is upon us and it’s my day for giving my skin a most needed treatment mask. My skin tends to be dry and a little lackluster by Sunday because I don’t always practice what I preach regarding skin care. I prefer to use a mask that hydrates my skin and/or clears my pores as they tend to be enlarged. Recently I have been checking out Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask and it’s a keeper.

About Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask $58

Your skin is left looking pure, fresh, hydrated, and radiant.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens
– Sulfates
– Phthalates

My results:

I always cleanse and do a mild scrub before masking (my esthetic background) and then I apply a medium coat of the mask. So, I did the same with Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask and kicked back for about 15 minutes.

After using Peter Thomas Roth Irish Moor Mud Purifying Black Mask my skin is left feeling moist and refreshed, but most of all my pores are clear and look much smaller. (Note — gunk is gone thanks to the mask!) One thing to remember is to rinse the mask before it dries on your skin otherwise you are sabotaging your efforts to leave your skin moist.Additionally, I also love that alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) is included in the mask, because it just boosts the exfoliation of the mask, leaving my skin with a beautiful after glow.

The fact that this is a multi-tasking mask makes it even more appealing to me; it’s rare that I have a mask that clears my pores and hydrates simultaneously. That in and of itself makes it even more of a fabulous product. I’ve been a fan of this brand since I used it in my skin care salon practice and it keeps on getting better.
