Makeup Review: Laura Mercier Caviar Volume Panoramic Mascara
Aside from concealer, mascara is my absolute favorite (and necessary) makeup item. I may be a bit nostalgic, as mascara and Bonnie Bell Lipgloss were my first makeup must-haves as a teen. And I have to say, almost 50 years later, I’m still loving the same makeup. Also, because I’m almost blind without my glasses which makes wearing falsies impossible for me.
I recently started wearing Laura Mercier Caviar Volume Panoramic Mascara awhile ago and it started off a bit rocky for me, but I learned how to work with Laura Mercier mascara to make it acceptable for me.
About Laura Mercier Caviar Volume Panoramic Mascara $26:

An indulgent volume mascara offering a full panoramic look with glossy black pigments that conditions lashes for a soft feel touch. This mascara offers intense volume and irresistible soft-touch lashes, as it glides on effortlessly to create high-impact length in one bold stroke. The innovative Lash-Hugging Helix Brush is designed with gentle fibers that are delicate on lashes and prevent smudging, clumping, and flaking.
My results:
I have a very high bar for the mascara wear and I hold any mascara that I review, whether it’s $30 or $5 to the same standards. I want volume, lengthening and lifting at minimum from any mascara I wear.
When I first applied Laura Mercier Caviar Volume Panoramic Mascara I wasn’t all that impressed. But I realized that this mascara needs extra application on the ends of the lashes. And two coats is better than one. I guess I’m spoiled by a drugstore mascara that does it all in one swipe!
But, after a few outings with Laura Mercier Caviar Volume Panoramic Mascara it kind of grew on me. I like that this mascara does lift my straight lashes and give me a bit of volume. I also love that this mascara is super black, that works well against my brown skin and gives my eyes more definition around the rims.
Another benefit of Laura Mercier Caviar Volume Panoramic Mascara is that it does not leave your lashes “crunchy”, rather lashes are soft and pliable. Also, this mascara has a glossy finish which is quite pretty as well.
But… It does take several applications to get volume and it can get a little clumpy. At the end of the day, I wouldn’t buy this mascara again.
