LA Loves: Bliss Best of Skintentions All Skin Types Daily Moisturizer

Anyone that is familiar with me through my public and detailed struggles with my skin will know I have a certain disdain for sunscreens and skin care products that have the standard sun protection factor (SPF) of 15. I feel SPF 15 is not adequate and actually recommend using SPF 30, especially if you're using products to help eradicate those pesky brown imperfections marring your canvas. You are a masterpiece so keep it blinging!

I did not have much hope for Bliss Best of Skintentions All Skin Types Daily Moisturizer. I received it as a part of a SheSpeaks program and have been hooked ever since.

Here's the lowdown:

What it is:

A PA++, once-a-day mega moisturizer on a mission equipped with antioxidant vitamins, minerals and omegas with a dash phytonutrients from tonka beans.

What it does:

Protects the skin with SPF 15 against burning (UVB) and aging (UVA), thus the PA++ rating. Instantly provides the skin with an illuminated finish upon application. Promotes healthy skin by delivering a multitude of skin-loving ingredients.

What I think:

I found the idea of an illuminating moisturizer with SPF ludicrous. I mean, there's no way this moisturizer would illuminate, protect and moisturize all at the same time and well too.

Well, this moisturizer had me at first glow. It's lightweight, it sinks into my skin and imparts a youthful radiance that does not look greasy or caked on my skin so I don't have to worry about it seeping into my pores.

It also has a pleasant citrus smell that is not overpowering and disappears upon application. And even though this moisturizer is white instead of tinted, it doesn't leave a white cast on my brown skin…even in pictures!

Pros: Lightweight, moisturizes, illuminates, pleasant scent, does not turn my skin white or gray

Cons: Only SPF 15, sort of expensive for 1.7 oz

Buy Again: Yes

Price: $35 for 1.7 oz

Packaging: 5 blings

Overall: 4 blings
