The day she dropped her hit “Truth Hurts” back in 2017, hitmaker Lizzo was ready to quit the music industry. Now, here she is covering major women’s magazines, headlining music awards shows, receiving major endorsements all the while still playing her flute, twerking and hitting the red carpet.

It’s so appropriate that Lizzo covers the September 2019 Elle Women in Music Issue this year.
