1897: Shiseido launches Eudermine, a skincare essence known for its ability to activate the skin’s self-restoring power. 1923: Shiseido creates Uviolin, the predecessor of the “Shiseido Sunscreen” and a suncare cream popular before the war. 1932: Shiseido’s brand of first-class cosmetics products is born, DE LUXE. a collection produced with the pursuit of the highest quality. 1961: Shiseido launches PRIOR, a luxury skincare and haircare brand developed to replace De Luxe. 1971: Shiseido develops EVENESE  a collection made for those with sensitive skin. 1997: French designer Serge Lutens conceives a new bottle design, EUDERMINE with a geometric style and new typeface. 1998: Shiseido develops Qiora, a collection made with attention to how fragrance affects both the spirit and the skin. 2014: Shiseido launches Ultimune Power Infusing Serum, developed based on many years of research on the idea of “increasing the power of beauty.” 2020: Shiseido innovates with SynchroShield technology, delivering powerful sun protection with the UV protective veil strengthened by heat and water*. 2021: Shiseido upgrades Ultimune with powerful skin-strengthening technology to deliver more radiant results.
