I have a 16-year-old daughter that I am always forcing skin care products on. Primarily because I’m an esthetician and I started my girls on skin care birth. Okay, I’m exaggerating, but, I do believe in sunscreen from the time young skin can tolerate it, with increased product usage as needed.
Back to the 16-year-old…
Lindsay has a bit of an acne problem, not exactly foreign to teens. So, she gets to be my personal tester for acne solution products. One product that she has been using and has give a big thumbs up to is Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Moisturizer.
Here are the details about the product:
AVEENO® CLEAR COMPLEXION DAILY MOISTURIZER
Prevents breakouts and helps clear up blemishes. This unique, skin-nourishing daily moisturizer harnesses the power of ACTIVE NATURALS® Total Soy Complex and salicylic acid to help clear up blemishes and improve the health of your complexion. This oil-free formula, with a proven acne-fighting ingredient, clears and helps prevent breakouts, and helps even out skin tone. Oil free, hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic, and gentle enough to use every day.
Her results:
First off, I noticed that while Lindsay (the 16-year-old) was having less breakouts and her skin wasn’t looking so dry. Great. So, I asked her what she was using and this Aveeno moisturizer was one of two products in her then regimen. If you have a teen, you know that they are people of few words. Here are her exact observations on this product:
“It doesn’t feel greasy, it’s light. I have had less breakouts.”
With more prodding:
“It doesn’t smell bad. I like the pump bottle. My skin feel pretty good after I put it on.”
When asked about anything negative:
“I wish it had sunscreen. I hate to put on two products during the day.”
There ya have it. A Teen Bling Product review.

I wish my mom had educated me on proper skincare from the time I was at least a teenager. But in all honesty, she was not educated herself, so I can’t really blame her there. I have never tried anything from this brand before, but I always do hear wonderful reviews on their products. Good to hear that this worked well for your daughter, it’s hard enough to be a teenage girl.
