What’s a girl to do without her Tweezerman? Actually, forget what you can’t do and focus on what you can now do with Tweezerman:
BLEND IN. STAND OUT.
Yes, the iconic beauty tool brand is now introducing luxury cosmetic brushes to their product lineup.
On January 28th, 2014, Tweezerman hosted beauty bloggers, editors, makeup artists, and others from the beauty world to an exclusive preview of their new Brush iQ line at the Bryant Park Hotel Loft in New York City.
What is TWEEZERMAN BRUSH IQ?
Tweezerman Brush IQ brushes are made with DuPont Natrafil filaments, which feel like and perform better than natural hair cosmetic brush fibers. These brushes are supposed to be more hygienic than animal bristles and have better pick-up and release, resulting in a more uniformed application. The IQ brushes have soft-feel filaments which have the smooth feel of natural bristles.
For two hours, guests were able to mingle with fellow beauty enthusiasts and chat all things Tweezerman. Above all, we were able to really experience the products.
VIP pro makeup artists (including one of Beyonce´’s makeup artists Jackie Gomez) were on hand to educate and help demo how to use the brushes. Jackie touched up my face with some light powder using one of the brushes. The powder brush was extremely smooth to the touch. The powder application was quick and flawless.
Being able to experiment, and experience the distinctive luxe feel of the 12 brushes from the Brush iQ line while getting professional tops and feedback was important to this event’s success. Nobody wants to just sit and talk about a new brush all day.
Also part of the event were interactive were brush stations. Each station was equipped with with an interactive tablet setup. People could go up to the tablets and learn more about the brushes without having to speak to a Tweezerman rep or makeup artist.
Tweezerman als0 had a table where guests could preview their new Spring collection and designs launching later in the year.
Personally, this was one of my favorite parts of the event. I loved previewing the Spring designs. The funky bold colors and zebra prints really stood out out to. I also got a refresher on the Tweezerman offering, hair removal tools, tweezers, mirrors, and more! I know when these products launch, I’ll most definitely have to get something zebra!
At the end of the night, we all received sweet swag bags filled with three Tweezerman Brush iQ brushes. I received a Powder brush, Pointed Foundation brush , and Line Glider brush. I can’t wait to try these and report back to you all on how they worked!
Overall, the night was a perfect way to spend an evening in the city. Enjoying sweet treats, talking beauty and makeup with new friends, and testing the look and feel of great-feeling and high- performing makeup brushes.
What more can a girl ask for?
