30 Days of Giveaways: Day 15—Tarte Supersize Maracuja Self-Tanner–$61 Value
It’s no secret that I’m a Tartelette — I have a special affection for all things tarte (cosmetics). Well, I happen to have in my coffers a lovely Supersize Maracuja Self-Tanner that’s up for grabs. I love self-tanners, but since I am perpetually tan, I don’t happen to need one at the moment…
Here are the details about Tarte Supersize Maracuja Self-Tanner:
What is it: A tanning collection for the face and body featuring a combination of tarte’s super-size Brazilliance skin rejuvenating maracuja face and body self-tanner, and their newest tanning innovation, the Brazilliance skin rejuvenating maracuja self-tanning face towelettes.
Who is it for: Anyone looking for an easy way to get a beautiful, sun-kissed glow for their face and body while drenching their skin in moisture.
Why is it different: Achieve and maintain a just-back-from-Brazil bronze! Infused with pure maracuja oil to deliver skin-brightening vitamin C and replenishing essential fatty acids, these revolutionary formulas keep skin looking and feeling brighter and smoother all year long! tarte’s PUREshield scent-control technology allows for a pleasant, spa-like application.
How do I use it: Unfold the Brazilliance skin rejuvenating maracuja self-tanning face towelette and apply in even strokes to clean, dry skin on the face and neck. Be sure to blend into your hairline, onto your ears and all the way down your neck for the most natural-looking tan. Wash hands immediately after use.
Prep skin for the Brazilliance skin rejuvenating maracuja face and body self-tanner by cleansing and exfoliating, especially areas such as elbows, knees and ankles. Make sure skin is dry before application. Dispense at least a quarter-sized amount of self tanner to the application mitt and apply to one body part at a time in long, even strokes until the bronzer color is uniform. Allow to absorb for ten minutes before dressing. Wait at least eight hours before showering, shaving, and sweating to allow a seamless tan to fully develop. Use one to two times a week to maintain a gorgeous, natural-looking tan.

I do use self-tanners because they are so much better for your skin.

I have tried a couple, but I really need to practice application so that I get an even coverage. I have pale skin and dark hair, so some self tanner on my lags helps to hide the dark follicles.

No, but I really want to! I’m super pale 🙁

I have always loved having a natural tan, but I have started to embrace the idea of not damaging my skin so much. I have tried a few self tanners, but not many.

I use self tanners once in while because I am so pale. I don’t like being in the actual sun long.

I use self tanners in the summer because I’m a natural redhead and my skin is soo pale all I do it burn when I’m in the sun for longer then an hour. Self tanners are like a god send to me!
