It’s Monday morning again, and  I’m on to my shower ritual that gets me off to a great start. I’m quite fond of body scrubs. No, scratch that. I’m obsessed with body scrubs. My most recent “love” is Lavanila Vanilla Bean Creamy Body Scrub, which is absolutely yummy.

The scent of Vanilla is so warm and inviting that you just want to dive right in this jar of scrub.  Then there is the texture — super creamy with extra fine exfoliating granules. So, before you even start your shower, this scrub is a wonderful wake up call!

As for how it works, the crushed Madagascar vanilla beans do a fabulous job of exfoliating dry, rough skin. This scrub isn’t at all abrasive, but rather has just the right amount of “grit” to get the job done. Then the creamy shea butter (mixed with other oils) nourishes the skin, leaving it so smooth when you rinse. I probably use two quarter size dollops for my entire body, including my feet and that get’s me silky smooth. The vanilla fragrance is soft and doesn’t work against any other fragrance that I may be wearing later on.
