Makeup Review: Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer in Flax (Video)

One of my constant makeup searches is for an under eye concealer that absolutely does everything for me. I need my concealer to cover my dark circles and stay put. I don’t need smudging or any movement from my perfect match concealer. And guess what? I found one. For real. I’ve been through a ton of concealers — many I like, and some I love, but I’ve found my partner for life with Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer in Flax. My results:

The first thing I noticed about Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer in Flax when I tested it on the back of my hand was how pigmented it was. Second was how creamy this concealer is and how well it blended out. Then, how well Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer in Flax matched my medium/light yellow toned skin. It’s nearly impossible for me to find a concealer that doesn’t read too beige or is too dark for my skin tone, but this Hourglass concealer was spot on.

1. Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer is EXTREMELY pigmented, and that’s a good thing. That means, a little goes a very long way and it truly covers every little evil thing on my face. I dot it in the corner of my eyes and around my under eye area, then blend. And i look brand new! After that, I take the reside on my brush on finger and pat on my eye lids, because I have inherited darkness there too. (Thank you grandma, I love you!) The price point may seem high to some for a concealer, but when you consider how little you need to use each time, the price is quite competitive with lower priced concealers.
2. Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer is long-wearing. I have worn Hourglass concealer for hours on end without any smudging or movement. It stays in place and remains fresh looking throughout the day. I also have dry eyes, so they tend to water at random times and I have no problem with Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer fading.
3. Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer matches color tones. As I mentioned earlier, I have very yellow undertones, and I have a difficult time finding concealers that are true to my coloring, but I had great success color matching with Hourglass concealer.
4. Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer doesn’t irritate my eyes. My eyes are extremely sensitive, and I Hourglass concealer is so easy for me to wear. That’s huge!
