Get the Look: Megan Thee Stallion Met Gala 2022 Makeup with Revlon

Wearing a metallic Moschino corset dress with a gilded feather shrug, Megan Thee Stallion embodied the Gilded Glamour theme of the 2022 Met Gala as she oozed golden glamour on the red carpet. Lauren Child created Megan’s smoked-out eye with golden accents using Revlon makeup.

“For Megan’s Met Ball look we were inspired by liquid metals and whimsical glamour. We used molten metal shades on her eyelids, surrounded by midnight black eyeliner, accentuated her dreamy skin with even more bronzes and golds, and finished with a classic nude lip.”  – Lauren Elise Child, Makeup Artist

For a flawless, long-wearing based, Lauren started with ColorStay Foundation in the shades 400 and 460. To create golden bronze highlights on the high points of her face and body, Lauren used Megan’s very own Revlon x Megan Thee Stallion Big Bad Palette in the shades Heat Wave and Bring The Heat, which she then layered with the SkinLights Prismatic Highlighter in the shade Twilight Gleam.

To compliment Megan’s amazing dress, Lauren made the eyes the focus of the look with a dramatic, bold, mesmerizing chrome eye. She first covered the lids of Megan’s eyes with the So Fierce! Prismatic Palette in That’s A Dub, Slight Flex, and The Big Bang for a range of metallic shades. She also used ColorStay Looks Book Eye Shadow Palette in Original and Insider, and then topped of the magnetic look with So Fierce! Chrome Ink Liquid Liner in Bronzage and Gun Metal. Lauren then went in with So Fierce! Vinyl Eyeliner in Midnight Mystery for a dark smudged line, and for extra drama and dimension she used ColorStay Sharp Line Liquid Eye Pen in Blackest Black for an elevated wing.  To finish the eye look, Lauren applied the So Fierce! Big Bad Lash Mascara in The Blackest Black for extreme volume and full, fanned out lashes. Finally, to create defined brows, Lauren used ColorStay Brow Pencil in Dark Brown.

As always, a signature bold lip by Meg is a necessity, and every great lip look starts with a great liner. Lauren went in with ColorStay Lip Liner in Chocolate, a gorgeous satiny brown. For super lush and creamy lips, Lauren used Super Lustrous Créme Lipstick in Bare It All for a peachy nude. To top it off, Lauren applied Super Lustrous The Gloss in Sandstorm for a shimmer to wow.
