Dark & Dangerous: Lancôme Oud Bouquet – The Perfect Fall Fragrance
I’m a fan of fragrance with a bouquet of wood, resin, and musk. This plays into why I wore men’s fragrances for years. Now, with more women’s perfumes embracing deep base notes like oud, gourmand, patchouli, leather, and tobacco, sexy, sensual scents are trending. Fall is the ideal season to shift to an alluring fragrance.
While I find many Lancôme fragrances a bit too floral or sweet, for fall, I am spraying Lancôme ABSOLUE OUD BOUQUET on my pulse points, and this dark and dangerous scent does not go unnoticed.

MY REVIEW OF LANCÔME ABSOLUE OUD BOUQUET
I love when a perfume transports me to an enchanting destination. Or, I feel like I’m the captivating presence in the room, even it it’s just me. That’s what Lancôme ABSOLUE OUD BOUQUET does for me. I feel like I should be in an exquisite French restaurant with impeccable service.
WHY LANCÔME ABSOLUE OUD BOUQUET IS ADDICTING

This captivating heady scent immediately hits me all the captivating notes at one time. Unlike traditional perfumes, the nootes in Absolue Oud Bouquet don’t develop as a traditional pyramid in step-by-step phases. Think of diving into a multilayered dessert; you taste all the components simultaneously, which delivers a complete taste sensation. Similarly, Absolue Oud Boquet presents as a sensual dance with all the notes wafting air so that you inhale the full composition of this warm, woodsy, parfum.
I believe that Absolue Oud Bouquet complements the chemical makeup of my skin. Even the “juice” of this fragrance is brown, deep, with the appearance of a fine cognac.

Let’s talk about the notes. Praline, rose, vanilla, oud, guaiac wood, copahu balm embrace each other to fashion a deliciously seductive fragrance. While I consider Absolue Oud Bouquet a “special occasion” or date night fragrance, I’m comfortable with a small spritz and curling up with a blanket and a book.
Lancôme Absolue Oud Bouquet is not for the timid. Prepare to be intoxicated by your own scent. Expect heads turning, men (and women) asking what fragrance your wearing. Formost, enjoy the sillage this scent leaves as you exit a room. I call that perfume swag.
