CeleBeauty Watch: Teyana Taylor is Maxim’s 2021 #1 ‘Hot 100 Women’

Teyana Taylor, the owner of the most awesome abs (and other assorted body parts) is the cover star of Maxim’s July 2021 Hot 100 Women of Influence. And let’s just celebrate that Taylor is the first Black woman to grace Maxim’s cover with the title of #1. Considering that the men’s magazine has been publishing for over 26 years, we just have to utter “about time!” Reflecting on all the super sexy bomb Black women that have been and are phenomenal influencers, this is a bittersweet accomplishment for Taylor to be named the SEXIEST!

The editorial images of Taylor are nothing less than amazing, which they should be considering that famed photographer Gilles Bensimon captured her pure essence in each frame. Though Taylor’s abs are a focal point of her physique, her other assets cannot be ignored, and they were not as you can see as you scroll through the photos.

While we love Taylor’s natural raw beauty, we can’t help but wonder why she wasn’t afforded the glam up of the usual Maxim cover girl. Nonetheless, Taylor slayed it with minimal makeup, days old braids and “missing lashes” (per Taylor’s instagram post).
