Product Review-Hair: Cantu Sulfate-Free Cleansing Shampoo & Sulfate-Free Hydrating Cream Conditioner

When I received Cantu Sulfate-Free Cleansing Shampoo and Cantu Sulfate-Free Hydrating Cream Conditioner in exchange for an honest review, I was pretty excited.  Both shampoo and conditioner are creamy and smell wonderful! I cannot get enough of the fragrance – it’s reminiscent of the tropics – smells citrusy and like coconuts. They both come in decent sized bottles at 13.5 fl oz.

I have to admit, Cantu Shea Butter is one of my favorite hair product lines. Their ingredients tend to work well with my natural hair and thus they have been my go-to line. As such, I was excited when I finally got the chance to try Cantu Sulfate-Free Cleansing Shampoo and Cantu Sulfate-Free Hydrating Cream Conditioner!

My experience:

Cantu Sulfate-Free Cleansing Shampoo is a great cleanser. It cleaned my hair without issue – it’s creamy and a little goes a long way. There’s just enough lather and it did not leave my hair feeling stripped. I used it once (although a second lather is recommended for major product build up) because I found lathering once through was more than enough for my hair.

My experience: 

Cantu Sulfate-Free Hydrating Cream Conditioner is creamy and super thick! It’s soft to the touch and is a moisturizing conditioner. It does not have much slip as other conditioners that I have used, however, with a little water it works just as if it was slippery all on its own. It detangled my hair perfectly and left my hair soft and hydrated.

I really love that these products are made with 100% Pure Shea Butter and aren’t made with any harsh chemicals! You can really feel the quality of the ingredients.
