Ulta 21 Days of Beauty September 1 Deals to Shop
September starts with another full day of Ulta Beauty Steals, but I’m narrowing the list to five brands that already have a place in my beauty world. These are products and brands I’ve used, reviewed, partnered with or genuinely recommend based on experience.
Black-Owned + Tried & Tested: Briogeo
Briogeo is one of the Black-owned hair-care brands I’ve used repeatedly, and I’m particularly fond of the Don’t Despair, Repair! line. So when select Briogeo is 50% off, this is the kind of Beauty Steal I can point to based on experience rather than hype.
TRACEY’S TAKE: If you’ve been wanting to try Briogeo, Don’t Despair, Repair! is the collection I’d look at first. It’s the line I keep coming back to.
Brand Partner + Tried & True: Kiehl’s Since 1851
Of course Kiehl’s makes my September 1 edit. Kiehl’s is a brand partner, but my relationship with the products goes beyond partnership: I’ve used and recommended Kiehl’s formulas for years. When one of the brand’s skincare products lands at 50% off, it deserves a closer look.
TRACEY’S TAKE: Brand relationship or not, I only recommend what I believe is worth your beauty dollars. Kiehl’s has plenty of tried-and-true products in that category for me.
Firming Favorite: StriVectin
StriVectin is another easy keep. I’m a fan of the brand’s firming products and I’ve reviewed StriVectin before, so there’s real experience behind this recommendation. Firming skincare is also a category I continue to watch closely.
FIFTY FINE BEAUTY NOTE: StriVectin is absolutely on my list for future Fifty Fine Beauty coverage, where I can take a deeper look at firming formulas through the lens of skin over 50.
Review Favorite: blinc
blinc stays on my list because I already have a review I need to share. The eye cream I’ve been using is fabulous, and that experience gives me a reason to pay attention when select products from the brand hit the Beauty Steals.
TRACEY’S TAKE: My full eye cream review is coming. This is a brand already earning space in my routine.
Tracey Tried & Tested: ghd Original Styler
ghd flat irons and other tools work on my frizzy hair. I use them when I want my hair straight, and they get the job done. That kind of personal performance is exactly what I want behind a tool recommendation—especially when a higher-priced hair tool lands in a 50% off event.
TRACEY’S TAKE: Hair tools have to perform for me. ghd does.
ShopMy Relationship Pick: NUDESTIX Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil
NUDESTIX has been warming me up on ShopMy, and this is exactly the kind of smart sale pick worth adding. The Intense Matte Lip + Cheek Pencil is a three-in-one matte lipstick, lip liner and cheek tint with rich color and a soft, non-drying feel. At 50% off—$14.50 instead of $29—it is an easy way to try the brand or add another multitasking shade to your makeup bag. Comes in 13 shades.
TRACEY’S TAKE: One pencil, two features, half the price. The Belle shade linked here gives you a complete lip and cheek look without overcomplicating your routine.
Beauty Editor’s Note
Five picks. That’s it. I’d rather give you a short list of products and brands I can speak to than turn this into a catalog of everything Ulta put on sale. Briogeo, Kiehl’s, StriVectin, blinc and ghd all made September 1 for a reason.
Daily Beauty Steals are available for 24 hours while quantities last and offers may vary by store and online.
