Product Review-Hair: Motions Enhance & Define Pre-Wash Detangling Butter

Product Review-Hair: Motions Enhance & Define Pre-Wash Detangling Butter

I’m not the best at taking care of my hair during the week. Particularly when I’m wearing a ponytail. I tend to just brush over the top, get my ponytail on and go. The ensuing mess at the end of the week, is that I’ve got a headful of mangled hair. I know I should be better by my hair, but I’m rather much of a lazy girl so I’m always looking for that shortcut to maintain my hair.
I was recently sent Motions Enhance & Define Pre-Wash Detangling Butter to review, and I tell you, it’s exactly what this lady’s hair needed.

The details about Motions Enhance & Define Pre-Wash Detangling Butter $6.69:

Motions Enhance Define Pre-Wash Detangling ButterPromotes Instant Tangle Release Before You Wash!

  • Provides Deep Moisture
  • Infused with Shea Butter
  • Promotes Less Hair Breakage

Melts into each hair strand providing deep penetrating moisture and instant tangle release.  Infused with Shea Butter, Coconut and Avocado Oils, this ultra-moisturizing butter smoothes over each strand to provide the ideal slip and softness to promote less hair breakage.

My results:

With a name like “detangling butter” I expected a product akin to a body butter, but  no, Motions Enhance & Define Pre-Wash Detangling Butter is thick for sure, but  creamy. I use a huge dollop in the center of my hair at the scalp, as  that tends to be my problem area, then I just massage it in and finger detangle my hair. This formula coats your hair, allowing the tangles to separate, but it is also like a pre-conditioner at the same time due to the great ingredients.

I love the way my hair goes from “crunchy” to smooth and silky. This Pre-Wash treatment doubles as a pre-conditioner as well, as when I rinsed it out to wash my hair, it felt like I had already gone through my conditioning treatment. This is truly a much better option than trying to comb out kinks and tangles and breaking and losing hair in the meantime.

I would venture to say that it keeps hair detangled through the entire cleansing process (I used the sister shampoo and conditioning products as well) and after I finished, my hair was so soft and detangled I could literally finger comb it.

I recommend this product for anyone who has problems with tangles, from fine to coarse hair and particularly for children!
