Product Review—Hair: Jane Carter Solution Creamy Leave-In Styling Smoother

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in the hope that I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255: “Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”

When it comes to leave-in conditioners, I consider myself an early adopter.  I started using leave-ins “back in the day” when they were water pumped up with vitamin B.  Then, that was great, it was almost ground-breaking in the hair care arena.  And, it suited my hair just fine.  Then…

Now, my hair is dryer, older. It is a chemotherapy survivor.  More than anything, I need daily moisture to keep my hair from feeling dried out. While I don’t manipulate my hair much (ponytail these days), my hair still needs a daily dose of moisture for manageability and hydration.

That’s why I’m loving Jane Carter Solution Creamy Leave-In Styling Smoother.

Jane Carter Creamy Leave-In Styling SmootherFor natural & transitioning styling to smooth cuticle & heat protect hair

Works especially well on curly, coily natural hair. Use Ultra Creamy Leave Styling Smoother for all wash and wear styles to smooth your cuticle, tame frizz and create soft shiny hair. Use for double strand twists, and all wash and wear styles for curl definition.

  • Perfect blend of natural butters and plant botanicals that nourish, add moisture, and seal the cuticle
  • Excellent results when combined with Natural Twist Out Foam
  • Great heat protectant for blow drying natural and transitioning hair

My results:

It was pretty much love at first pump with this Jane Carter Solution Creamy Leave-in.  The operative word being–CREAMY!  This water-based conditioner also contains shea butter, mango butter, glycerin and kokum butter which explains why it’s so moisturizing.

I first used this leave-in on my dry hair, and it literally melted into my hair, eliminating tangles and frizz immediately.  My hair was smooth, and most importantly moist.  I use a detangling brush, and along with the creamy smoother, my hair was extremely easy to comb through.  Now, some who know me think that because I have fine hair that shouldn’t be a problem, but my hair is very tangly.

I have also used it on my hair while wet, and was the perfect detangler.  My hair also retained moisture throughout the day. Additionally, my daughter who has coarser hair has used this Jane Carter Creamy leave-in styling smoother for styling and conditioning and her hair is loving it too.

This one is entirely different. I have had the same issues with other products too.
