Product Review—Hair: Aveeno Pure Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner-Sulfate Free & Works for this Naturalista

The first thing that ran through my mind  when I thought of Aveeno was, “Isn’t that a lotion company?”  Yes, Aveeno makes lotion, but any company that majors in hydration is a friend of mine!

You will be pleasantly surprised with Aveeno’s Pure Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner. No we won’t claim it’s life saving serum in a jar, or the Belle of the Hair Care Ball, but this a Cinderella product!

A shampoo and conditioner duo that not only does what the company advertises, but saves a pay check or two is well worth the try. So I tried it!

What I’ve found:

Although a moisturizer is still needed, as with most hair cleansing systems, these don’t leave your hair gasping for nutrients. Aveeno Pure Renewal is decently priced and easy to use. For a person sensitive to fragrance and not into smelling like a candy bar, this is LOVELY! The conditioner, especially.  I love that there are no sulfates–perfect for my naturalista ways.

I loved this as a pre-heat ritual as well as for natural styling! Add a few oils or your favorite hydration cream to the Aveeno Pure Renewal Conditioner and you have a great leave in conditioner!
