Makeup Review: Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Eyeshadow Palette
I love experimenting with eyeshadows and creating various look with makeup palettes. As an aspiring makeup artist, I have found that not all palettes are created equal! I love when an eyeshadow palette makes sense and has usable colors in it. I recently tried out Pretty Vulgar Nightingale Eyeshadow Palette and found that it’s easy to use, and contains the basic colors everyone needs — from neutral to smoky.

My results:
The Nightingale palette by Pretty Vulgar is a versatile palette for neutral to smokey looks. They have an assortment of colors that vary from pretty to vulgar to satisfy every mood. I found that the shadows were easy to apply and blend, but some needed more blending and layering of product which signaled to me that it wasn’t as heavily pigmented as I prefer with eyeshadows. The shadows do last well even though I didn’t use the application method recommended on the site. (Spray brush with setting spray) I don’t think I should have to go to that extra length.
he packaging is very unique it’s inspired by vintage makeup containers, which I like. Bonus points because the palette includes a large mirror!
I created a neutral smoky eye with the Nightingale palette using Hide & Seek on my inner corner then blending Flip Out in my crease and out then I went over with Swoop and pressed in my outer corner and then I put after midnight to make the outer corner darker and lined with All Nighter. I also highlighted my cheeks, brow bone and tear duct with Pillow Talk.
