Lupita Nyong’o Cover Glamour’s June 2024 Global Issue

It’s hard to believe that 10 years have passed since Lupita Nyong’o won her Academy Award for  Best Supporting Actress for 12 Years A Slave. Since that time she has won other awards for her acting, become an ambassadress for Lancôme and has covered more than her share of magazine covers. No longer a stranger to gracing glossy covers, Nyong’o covers Glamour’s June 2024 Global Issue.

If you’re wondering why Nyong’o is sporting “cat” themed clothing in the editorial spread, it’s no doubt due to her upcoming role. Staring as lead in the upcoming thriller  A Quiet Place: Day One, the third film from the post-apocalyptic thriller franchise, Nyong’o owns a cat. However, not being so fond of cats, Nyong’o underwent “cat therapy” before shooting. After filming, she actually adopted a cat, Yoyo.
