My Review of Fenty Beauty Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Hydrating Longwear Foundation:
I was sent three shades of Fenty Beauty Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Hydrating Longwear Foundation to try – 300, 315 and 335. I decided that 300 was my closest match. So I proceeded to prep my skin with my usual skin care plus Fenty Primer. I also added some Hella Thicc Voluminizing Mascara and filled in my brows so as not to scare anyone. Here’s my before pic:

The first thing I noticed about this Fenty foundation was how much pigment was present in the formula. A little of the Luminous Hydrating Foundation goes a very long way. So, be sure to use a small amount of foundation on first application. I applied this hydrating foundation starting under my eyes and fanned out with it. Of course, I repeated this step on the other side of my face. I was quite pleased with the coverage. So I followed up with blending it out even more. The blending step is to make the foundation look even more skin like. I can say for sure that Fenty Beauty Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Hydrating Longwear Foundation lives up to all it’s claims.

After applying the foundation I was super satisfied with the finish and easy-to-use formula. Also, 3oo was the perfect color match in Fenty Beauty Soft’Lit Naturally Luminous Hydrating Longwear Foundation for my summer color. It in fact gave me a little “tan” that I do need. I do, however, have dark circles. So, even though the foundation did a satisfactory of covering my under eye darkness, I followed up with Fenty Beauty We’re Even Hydrating Longwear Concealer ($30) In 315 W. I love to create some lift to my face with my concealer, so I extend the application upward toward my browline. See my pics for these steps below:
Editor’s note: Ordinarily I do my concealer before foundation as it allows me to use less fouundation

To complete my glowing Fenty look, I decided to add Fenty BeautyDemi’Glow Light-Diffusing Highlighter in Rich Hunnie ($40) to cheekbones to give my face some structure. Not only does it only give a fabulous looklit (highlighted,) I totally get glowing golden girl vibes! This Fenty Light-Diffusing Highlighter has my over 50 self (way over 50) feeling myself.

I continued my golden flow by touching my eyes with Fenty Beauty Shadowstix. I used the U A’int Ready Shadowstix along my lower lash line. Then I used the Candy Rapper Shadowstix along my top lash line and tried to wing it out a bit. I also used U A’int Ready Shadowstix on my lips for a bronzy monochrome look.
