Get the Look: Rihanna at her  5th Annual Diamond Ball in NYC

Rihanna continues to work, work, work. Between Fenty fashion shows and makeup launches, she manages to take time for her philanthropic causes, this time the 5th Annual Diamond Ball in NYC. Naturally, Rihanna wore her eponymous makeup line for the event.

Priscilla Ono, Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Global Makeup Artist created Rihanna’s makeup look for her 5th Annual Diamond Ball in NYC. Wearing a Givenchy Haute Couture gown from Claire Waight Keller’s Fall 2019 collection Riri continued to claim her reputation as a red carpet “stunna.”

For Rihanna’s makeup, Priscilla created an all matte skin look by prepping with Pro Filt’r Mattifying Primer to prevent shine and create a smooth canvas for makeup application. She then applied Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation in 320 for a soft matte flawless finish. Using the NEW! Brow MVP Ultra Fine Brow Pencil & Styler in Dark Brown, she defined and filled in Rihanna’s brows, using the innovative paddle brush end to blend and comb brows into place for a polished yet natural look.

Priscilla then used the Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette on Rihanna’s eyes, opting for neutral, matte shades to define and shimmering shades to enhance. She used Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner in Cuz I’m Black along her top lash line for a precise, winged look. She swept a light layer of Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Mo’ Hunny on the bridge of her nose to add subtle spotlight to her facial angles.

On Rihanna’s lips, Priscilla applied Mattemosielle Plush Matte Lipstick in Ma’Damn, a royal red, which served as the focal point of the look. Lastly, to set the look, she applied Pro Filt’r Instant Retouch Setting Powder, using Cashew to seamlessly blend into Rihanna’s skin to extend makeup wear, and then used the shade Banana under her eyes to brighten. Priscilla then applied Invisimatte Blotting Powder on Rihanna’s t-zone to absorb excess shine and diffuse pores for an instantly filtered appearance both on and off the red carpet.
