Get the Look: Megan Thee Stallion 2022 Grammy Awards Makeup

Megan Thee Stallion slayed the red carpet at the 94th Grammy Awards on Sunday March 3, 20202 wearing a gold embellished thigh-high slit leopard print Roberto Cavelli gown that revealed yet another animal print. Even Megan’s nails were on point, created by her go-to nail artist, Coca Michelle, featuring a cool design of a tiger’s mouth, including the teeth, tongue, and a yellow gem.

Celebrity Makeup Artist Lauren Child used some of Meg‘s favorite Revlon products to create her bold cat eye (complimenting the animal print) while keeping her overall look lush and sexy.

“For Megan’s Grammys red carpet look, we were inspired by graphic shapes and tropical temperatures. Complimenting her animal print dress, we made her ultra-black and dramatic cat eye the focus. We decided to go with light shades on the lid and browns in the crease to sculpt and provide a softly shaped background to her graphic liner. Layering golden bronze highlights on the high points of her face and body, we accentuated her dreamy skin to complete this bold but lush look.” – Lauren Child

For a flawless, long wearing base, Lauren started with ColorStay Foundation in the shades 400 and 460. To create golden bronze highlights on the high points of her face and body, Lauren used Megan’s very own Revlon x Megan Thee Stallion Big Bad Palette in the shades Heat Wave and Bring The Heat, which she then layered with the SkinLights Prismatic Highlighter in the shade Twilight Gleam. 

To compliment Megan’s fabulous animal print dress, Lauren made the eyes the focus of the look with a dramatic, ultra-black cat eye. She first covered the lids of Megan’s eyes with the So Fierce! Prismatic Palette in Tantrum for a range of nudes. Lauren then went in with So Fierce! Vinyl Eyeliner in Midnight Mystery for sharp lines, and for extra drama and dimension, she lined Megan’s eyes with ColorStay Sharp Line Liquid Eye Pen in Blackest Black for an elevated wing. To finish the eye look, Lauren applied the So Fierce! Big Bad Lash Mascara in The Blackest Black for extreme volume and full, fanned out lashes. Finally, to create defined brows, Lauren used ColorStay Brow Pencil in Dark Brown. 

Meg’s signature lip look always starts with a great liner, which is why Lauren started off the lips with ColorStay Lip Liner in Chocolate, a gorgeous satiny brown. For super lush and creamy lips, Lauren used Super Lustrous Créme Lipstick in Bare It All for a peachy nude look. To top it off, Lauren applied Super Lustrous The Gloss in Sandstorm for a glossy, peach-nude shimmer to wow.
