Friday Fragrance Find: Avon FEMME

To tell you I am a fan of fragrances is an understatement.  I am slightly obsessed with fragrance; floral, citrus and amber – I like them all.  I enjoy getting my box of products and finding a fragrance.  The outer packaging, the bottle design details and even the cap of the bottle; I like it all.

What it is:

It’s your moment to shine. AVON FEMME captivates from day to night. An elegant fragrance with sparkling freshness and opulent florals. Rich jasmine petals and stunning magnolia touched with radiant amberwoods. Luxuriously long-lasting, for hour after hour of beautiful scent.

My Thoughts:

The first spray of a new fragrance is wonderful.  Until you get that first whiff it is a mystery to what the bottle holds inside.  When the packaging is as beautiful as the Avon FEMME bottle, the mystery is heightened.  What fragrance note will come through first I wonder?  Will the fragrance last all day?  Will I get compliments while wearing it?  All of these questions come into play and must be answered.

Avon FEMME – my first spray; a burst of citrus, followed by beautiful floral notes of magnolia and jasmine and then I get a slight wisp of powdery finish.   As the fragrance wears on the fruity citrus notes blend well with the floral notes and it becomes slightly sweeter and the powdery note seemed to fade.   This is a fragrance I am truly enjoying.  It wears well on me, none of the notes are overpowering and they blend well together.  I do notice as it wears on there is a very slight woodsy note, but it is very faint.  The magnolia, grapefruit and jasmine are the stand out notes for me.

I have to say I like Avon FEMME, it is fresh, fruity, floral fragrance and it is long lasting.    I think this will be a great spring and summer fragrance for me.
