I was quite surprised that Rimmel London Magnif’Eyes Spice Edition Eyeshadow Palette shadows were so pigmented and applied so well. It’s practically a dupe for this palette that sells at almost seven times the price. Save your money and get this one!

The colors transition so well from summer into fall, as the name Spice Edition surely tells. I think what I love most about this palette is that it can be used is so many ways. The individual colors look gorgeous as a single wash of color or layered for a more contoured or smoky look. The deeper color also look fabulous as a liner or smudged under the eyes. The shimmery colors range from sheer to full-on metallic and seriously show up.

I used the palette with and without an eyeshadow primer and I have to say, that even without a primer, I get real payoff from the shadows. Since I have brown skin, pigment is a major necessity in all my makeup products, and Rimmel London Magnif’Eyes Spice Edition Eyeshadow Palette raises the bar for budget beauty eyeshadows.
