Budget Beauty Skin Care Review: Palmer’s Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm

Budget Beauty Skin Care Review: Palmer’s Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm

Since I’ve become a woman of a certain age, I truly enjoy products that are rich and moisturizing, and that includes my cleansers. When I’m able to find one that meets my requirements — good ingredients, luxurious feel, and wonderful results — I’m all in. Then, when that product is a budget friendly product, it’s even better. That’s why my pick for this week’s Budget Beauty Tuesday is Palmers Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm.

About Palmer’s Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm $7.95

Palmer’s Coconut Oil Formula products contain ethically and sustainably sourced Coconut Oil and Tahitian Monoi Oil, infused with Tiare flower petals. These raw natural ingredients ingredients drench skin in luxurious moisture for improved texture and appearance.

Palmer’s Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm transforms into a rich, creamy facial cleanser to gently remove makeup, dirt and impurities.

No Parbens • No Phthalates • No Mineral Oil • No Gluten • No Sulfates • No Dyes

My results:

Using Palmer’s Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm is a lovely cleansing experience. First of all, this balm isn’t at all “greasy”, but it’s a creamy oil, hence it’s name. Upon applying this coconut oil cleansing balm,  you will find that it just melts into your skin. So after massaging it for a bit, add water and it emulsifies. It does an excellent job of removing makeup, even hard-to-remove mascara and eye makeup. All of this, without any irritation. After working the cleanser into your skin, simply rinse. You’ll find that your skin is clean, refreshed, moisturized and with no residue of the cleansing balm.

The coconut scent is refreshing and lends a nice aroma to the cleanser. Additionally, the ingredients, including Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Monoi Oil and Sweet almond oil, are perfectly compatible with the lipid layer of the skin. I also appreciate that there are no negative ingredients to be found in Palmer’s Coconut Oil Cleansing Balm.

Also, knowing that there are no comedogenic ingredients in this cleanser, I would recommend it for all skin types.
