Product Review—Hair: My Honey Child Coconut Hair Milk

Natural hair is naturally dry. This is due to the varying degrees of texture that most black women have to their hair. The more texture, the more dryness. This is due to the fact that sebum takes longer to travel down a hair strand that is kinked and/or coiled than wavy or straight.  What is the solution? Use a product that will add moisture and aid in moisture retention.

I have tried many different products to aid my quest for moisturized natural hair. Few deliver the results I actually want. I recently tried a new product; the Coconut Hair Milk by My Honey Child, and I love it. I’ve used this product on my hair, wet and dry, and I have been really happy with the results.

Here is why My Honey Child Coconut Hair Milk can aid in adding moisture and retaining moisture:
The first ingredient this product contains is purified water. Water is the best way to get moisture into hair. This product also contains glycerin and raw honey which are humectants. Humectants help retain moisture. I also like the fact that coconut butter and olive oil, since these two ingredients help slow moisture loss from hair.

My results:
After using this hair milk 5 times I can say that each time I used it, my hair felt soft, detangling was a breeze, and styling went faster. I find that when my hair is well moisturized, it tangles less, and that is what decreases styling time for me.
