Skin Care Review: C'est Moi Sunshine Mineral Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Water Resistant

It’s summer, and more than ever, I need a great sunscreen to protect my brown skin. I have tried multiple facial sunscreens to help protect my skin, with some working well and others not so well.

On a darker skin complexion sunscreen often turns purple or ashy after it’s applied. My goal was to find a sunscreen with an SPF higher than 15 to protect my brown skin for summer. I was offered C’est Moi Sunshine Mineral Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Water Resistant (40 minutes) to try.

I applied C’est Moi Sunshine Mineral Sunscreen Lotion to my face after serum but before my final moisturizer and found that it blends in well. I like that C’est Moi Sunshine Mineral Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Water Resistant sunscreen does not have a strong scent and works well on my sensitive skin. There is also no change in the way that makeup looks on top of this sunscreen. I love that his sunscreen leaves a slight sheen on my skin that gives off a little glow. I

In order to test the sunscreen to see if the product is waterproof for 40 minutes, I set a timer and periodically sprayed my face with water. C’est Moi Sunshine Mineral Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Water Resistant is waterproof for 40 minutes and maybe even longer.

C’est Moi Sunshine Mineral Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 45 Water Resistant moisturizer does give off a purple hue when first applied, but it does fade after a few minutes. I kind of expected the purple finish, because I have brown skin, but the fact the purple fades is a plus. I’m okay with that temporary finish because I prefer a mineral sunscreen on my face over chemicals.
