I've found my favorite facial moisturizer, and I don't like to deviate from it one bit. Just when I thought my skin couldn't look and feel any better, along comes Blinging Beauty Editor-in-Chief, Tracey, back from New York Fashion Week with a new product from a brand we love—Vapour Organic Beauty!

So when I see that cobalt blue packaging, I know something good is inside.

Tracey returned from New York raving about some dry oil from Vapour that isn't even on the market yet. She got a privileged sneak preview during Fall Fashion Week 2012. Unlike me, Tracey doesn't even like oil. So I knew that if she was so excited about this Vapour Dry Oil, it was something big. Fully aware of my undying affection for oils of all kinds, she ~~threatened~~ warned me that this was for trial only and I couldn't have hers. Boo.

Now, as I mentioned earlier, I was really reluctant to try any new skin care products. I've had a rough time lately with crazy, unpredictable postpartum skin, and I've FINALLY found a good balance. I was afraid to mess it up with this new miracle oil, but as a licenced esthetician and beauty guru, Tracey knows what she's talking about and I trust her opinion. Plus, I couldn't pass up a chance to try out one of my favorite products from one of my favorite brands!

My results:

And try it out I did. After my exfoliation routine, I picked up the small, lightweight bottle and pumped once. A generous squirt of oil came out, which I massaged gently into my skin. The light, clean fragrance dissipated quickly. I kid you not, Vapour Organic Beauty Essence Restorative Night Treatment felt sooo good on my fingertips and face that I didn't want to stop rubbing it in!

The pump dispenser was a bit too liberal for my needs, but this proved to be a non-issue. The excess just went into my decollete, which felt softer and more supple as well.

Afterward, this skin care oil didn't leave a greasy or heavy feel, which is a problem with many oils even on uber dry-combo skin like mine. This dry oil absorbs like no other. And my face *swoon* felt like butter all day! It was incredible how soft my skin was with just one use. Over time, it left a soft glow that was NOT oily. Amazing, right?

Vapour Organic Beauty Essence Restorative Night Treatment is definitely going to be a much-raved about product once it hits the market. I would highly recommend it to beauties of all skin types and ages! It is an oil, so if you have seriously acne-prone skin it may not be your cup of tea. But don't be afraid to try it, as you may stumble upon a new must-have like I did!
