Mizani Creates Alicia Keys Intricate Hairstyle for the 2025 Met Gala

Alicia Keys graced the red carpet at the 2025 Met Gala for the first time since 2022 wearing a red pinstripe suit and a matching beaded headpiece, designed by Moncler with Vogue editor Edward Enninful. The double-breasted suit was worn over a bustier with matching wide-leg trousers. A contrasting Moncler-coded oversized down scarf in a navy-and-red stripe topped off Keys answer the the 2025 Met Gala’s theme, Tailored for You. 

Keys glam consisted of a slicked back ponyail-turned-chignon with intricate styling on the forhead created by Nai’Vasha (@naivashaintl) with Mizani hair products. Her hair was a take on iconic Josephine Baker’s Keys hairstyle. Keys makeup was a take on light with a glossy lip and dramatic cateye liner. Prior to the after party Keys ditched her headpiece to show off her hair.
