Manly Man: Michael B. Jordan Covers Vogue’s October 2026 Issue
Michael B. Jordan is Vogue’s October 2026 cover star, and the moment is as compelling as the man himself. Fresh off his best actor Oscar win for Sinners, Jordan fronts a portrait of an actor who is still setting his next challenge. For Blinging Beauty, the cover also offers a chance to celebrate the beauty and fashion talent behind the image.
The cover look
Jordan wears Dolce & Gabbana on the cover, photographed by Luis Alberto Rodriguez and styled by Carlos Nazario. Tasha Reiko Brown handled grooming, and Jove Edmond handled hair. The polished look lets his presence carry the frame.

Why this cover matters
In Vogue’s interview, Jordan calls attention to the team and to what it means to be a Black man on the cover of American Vogue. The feature traces his long creative partnership with Ryan Coogler, his Oscar-winning dual performance in Sinners, and his next turn as star, producer, and director of The Thomas Crown Affair.
There’s a particular beauty in seeing a leading man recognize the artists who helped make a cover moment. Grooming and hair may be understated here, but they are part of the visual storytelling.

Jordan’s next project is his reimagining of the classic 1968 heist movie The Thomas Crown Affair—he’s the director, producer, and star. It’s due this spring. Valentino coat. Timberland boots.

Jordan wears a Burberry coat. Dolce & Gabbana trousers. Timberland boots.

“He thinks a lot about the implications of the characters he plays, and what he wants to tell folks about what’s possible—especially for Black men,” says Tessa Thompson, his costar from the Creed movies. Ferragamo coat and trousers. Timberland boots.

Dolce & Gabbana tank top. Charvet briefs. Timberland boots.

After winning the best-actor Oscar for Sinners, Jordan, here in Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, had to recuperate. His body told him, “time to shut down for a second.” Timberland boots.

Jordan’s Thomas Crown remake fill feature a different kind of leading man. “I don’t think a billionaire, or a millionaire, just doing shit for fun, right now, is something that people want to see,” he says.
Editor’s note
From Fruitvale Station and Creed to Black Panther and Sinners, Jordan has built a career with range and intention. This cover feels like a fitting portrait of where he stands now: accomplished, focused, and still creating what comes next.
