Makeup Review: Armani Beauty Eye Quattro Eyeshadow Palette in Festival

I’m pretty basic when it comes to eye makeup. I’m pretty much an eyeliner and mascara girl. There was a day when I wouldn’t leave the house without eyeshadow, but now it has to be a very special occasion for me to glam up my eyes with some eyeshadow.

That was until I received the Armani Beauty Eye Quattro Eyeshadow Palette in Festival to try out. Good grief, it was so gorgeous I didn’t even want to touch it, and I didn’t for a few weeks. Now I’m sad I was so silly and put off wearing such a gorgeous eyeshadow palette.

This set of four luxury eyeshadows is simply beautiful, so easy to work with and worth every cent.

Why I love this eyeshadow palette:

I have hooded eyelids and they can be challenging when it comes to eyeshadow application. I actually hated them until the great celebrity makeup artist Dick Page told me they were his favorite eye type, as he splashed purple eyeshadow all over me lids..

I digress. Back to the Armani Beauty Eye Quattro Eyeshadow Palette in Festival. First of all, there are four fabulous, extremely wearable colors in this eyeshadow palette — the perfect chocolate brown, an orange with plenty of oomph plus shimmery gold and champagne. These colors can be used alone or combined to create a beautiful bronzy, smoky eye look as I have done in the pics below.

The eyeshadows in the palette are so pigmented that a little goes a very long way. So user beware — go with a light hand and then build on your eye look. as a makeup artist I love the density of the pigment, it works on deeper skin tones as well as lighter ones. These shadows are powders, but they are so creamy they blend like a dream.

The brown eyeshadow in the palette is so deep that it doubles as a liner as you can also see in my pics. The orange is extremely wearable and blends down to a perfect color wash over the entire lid. The shimmer shadows are perfect for brow highlighters or for popping in the center of the lid.
