Get the Look: Zendaya’s Old Hollywood Inspired Hair at 2019 Emmys

Zendaya debuted Hollywood Glam Hair on the red carpet at the 2019 Emmy Awards. Wearing a  custom Vera Wang green sheer corset dress with a high leg slit accentuated by her red cascading locks, Zendaya was a red carpet favorite of the night.

Celebrity Hairstylist Ursula Stephen styled Zendaya’s hair for the 71st annual Emmys.

“Tonight’s look was extra special because Zendaya went back to red hair! To complement the
vibrant color, we decided to go for old Hollywood inspired soft waves, which went well with her
jewel tone green dress and diamonds, for the ultimate Hollywood starlet style.” – Ursula Stephen

TIPS &TECHNIQUES

”To create her look, I cleansed and conditioned her hair and added a cream to moisturize her
curls. Next I blow dried the hair with the ghd air® hair dryer ($199) and a paddle brush.
After blow drying the hair, I took medium sections and created on-base curls using the ghd
curve® soft curl iron ($199) for a tight ringlet. Next I brushed all the curls vigorously to blend
them all together and create the wave pattern. Once the waves were set, I removed the pins and
shaped the waves around her face and finished.
