Get the Look: Lady Gaga at the Los Angeles premiere of ‘A Star Is Born’
Wearing a silver Givenchy gown with a cape that went on for miles and a truckload of BVLGARI diamonds at the Los Angeles premiere of A Star Is Born Lady Gaga looked her part of the Hollywood star she has become. Her silver Veronica Lake hair, gown and makeup all added to the luster of her appearance on the red carpet.
For the premiere, Sarah Tanno used Marc Jacobs Beauty to create Lady Gaga’s “Futuristic Old Hollywood Glam” red carpet look that featured classic makeup elements amped up with glitter and metallics.
Get the look:
Sarah first primed Gaga’s eyes with Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Eye Primer ($26) before gently tapping a small amount of the new See-Quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow in Flashlight ($28), an icy opal shade, with her fingertip and then blending over the entire lid so it looked like a fine veil of twinkling glitter. Next, she dipped a liner brush in water and lined her eyes with Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette in Smartorial in the shade In Doubt ($49), a metallic silver, to enhance the finish. Sarah then added a small metallic foil to the center of Gaga’s eyes to mimic her custom Givenchy dress. She finished the eye look with a few coats of Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara ($26) for super full and fluffy lashes.
For the lips, Sarah applied Le Marc Lip Crème Lipstick in Oh Miley ($30), a strawberry spice shade, and then blotted down the color to a matte finish for a classic red pout.
