Get the Look: Jennifer Hudson x Lancôme at the 2021 CMAs

A somewhat unusual paring — Jennifer Hudson at the Country Music Awards. Not so unusual was Hudson’s glam look on the red carpet as well as her outstanding performance. JHud was wearing a sheer ruby red lace Dolce & Gabbana catsuit accompanied by a dramatic skirt with train.

Hudson’s makeup was created by Celebrity Makeup Artist Adam Burrell  using Lancôme makeup.

HERE’S HOW TO GET THE LOOK:

SKIN 

• Apply Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation in 520 all over the face for flawless coverage.
• Apply Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear Stick in 500 under the cheekbones and along the perimeter of the  face to add depth and definition.
• Apply Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear All Over Concealer in 495 and 415 under the eyes and along the  t-zone to brighten.
• Apply Lancôme Dual Finish Powder Foundation in 510 under the eyes and along the t-zone to set the look. 
• Apply Lancôme Blush Subtil in Keep Calm & Blush to the apples of the cheeks.

 Adam’s insider tip: “I used a lighter shade on areas of her face that I wanted to pop on camera.”

EYES

• Fill in brows using Lancôme Sourcils Gel in Brun, applied with an angled brush to create a natural-looking  texture 
• Mix shades from the Lancôme Hypnôse 5-Color Eyeshadow Palette in Terre De Sienne to create a subtle  golden smokey eye, using the darker shades to add definition. Use the berry shade in Lancôme Hypnôse 5-Color Eyeshadow Palette in Rose Fusion in the eye crease to bring those berry shades in every layer of the  look.

• Line the upper lash line with NEW Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil Waterproof Eye Liner in Cafe Noir,  creating a thin, elongated cat-eye. 
• Prime with Lancôme CILS Booster XL Enhancing Lash Primer before finishing off the eyes with 2 coats  of Lancôme Lash Idôle Mascara.

• Line lips with Lancôme Le Lip Liner in Mauvelle
• Apply Lancôme Color Design Lipstick in Afraid Not
• Finish with a swipe of Lancôme L’Absolu Gloss in 392
