Why we love it:

I was given CoverGirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup Tawny d5 for an honest review.

CoverGirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup worked nicely on my skin; I have combination skin but usually experience an unflattering shine in my T-zone. However, I wore this product all day and I must say it controlled and minimized any shine in my T-zone; I did not have to use any powder.

The foundation felt light on my skin, so I did not have to use a lot of the product. The consistency was thin/light but not too thin (not watery). It worked well with my concealer giving me flawless coverage. It blended seamlessly into my skin; left it looking like my own skin was flawless! It did not leave my pores feeling clogged or caked-faced, it was very natural looking.

There was a matte finish and it was definitely long-lasting (I did not need any re-ups throughout the entire day).

The price was right for such great results!

Back when I was a teenager and just starting out wearing makeup, Covergirl was my go to brand. It was affordable and I could get it at Kmart. Since I am older now, I have tended to experiment with higher end makeup and other drugstore brand cosmetics. I sometimes forget how great Covergirl still is. I also have combo skin and experience shininess in my T-zone. This foundation looks really great on you, especially without a setting powder!
