I know a thing or two about sex. Maybe I should say three – I have three children…
And along with chocolate, good red wine, gorgeous shoes, sex can be a pretty good thing. So to say that anything is better is a big boast. But. Too Faced has named their latest mascara Better Than Sex Mascara. Hmmmm. Is it? Read on…
About Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara $23:
What it does:
Inspired by the curves of a woman’s body, the hourglass-shaped brush was designed with extra stiff bristles to maximize the performance of this carbon black, collagen-fueled formula. One coat and lashes are full and defined. Two coats and lashes are even more luscious, curled, and dramatic. Three coats help you achieve the most intense, black, multidimensional lashes possible.
The claim for Better Than Sex Mascara is that it separates, coats and curls lashes to perfection. And, I have to admit – yes it does. I have straight eyelashes (all that Cherokee blood) and with one coat, my eyelashes looked pretty darn good. They were lengthened and curled and had a bit of volume.
With two coats, my lashes looked like they were on steroids. Big and bold and lovely. Just how I like my mascara (shoes, red wine and chocolate…) Better than sex — no. Better than bad sex, yes.
I am pleased with the results and I didn’t even get to three coats of this mascara. Maybe next time. And when I do, I will update this post with the pics. In the photo to the left, my right eye has no mascara and the left eye has one coat of Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.
