When 16 year old gold medalist Gabby Douglas was putting the USA women gymnasts in the spotlight with her superlative routines, the hater nation raised raised its ugly congruous voice to distract from her victory to make light of her so-called unkempt hair.  Post Olympic Games, Gabby hired Ted Gibson, A-lister hair stylist, for a dose of celebrity hair.  Hate on that. Read more here.

It's Coco Chanel's B-Day!

The woman who is known for perfume, pearls, signature jackets and suits, and bell bottoms started her life 129 years ago today as Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel.  Better known as Coco Chanel, this designing woman created an empire of style and a plethora of quotes for every fashionable woman to live by.

 

Fashion fades, only style remains the same.
A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.
Look for the woman in the dress. If there is no woman, there is no dress.
In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.
I don't know why women want any of the things men have when one the things that women have is men.
Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.
